Playstation 3 Distribution

When Playstation 3 struck the US market last November 17, 2006, its expected supply was not met and a lot of people ended up racing to stores to get one.  Even before it was out on the market, Playstation 3 distribution on the internet was already at a height; with prices tripling more than the normal cost it was suppose to have.  Today, after its launching, warnings of saturation for wholesale Playstation 3 distribution “phenomena” is anticipated. 

The way a lot of buyers took advantage of the selling of Playstation 3 in eBay for three times its present retail price, will be the same way that hundreds of probable fake wholesale Playstation 3 distribution on the internet will occur; they would be selling PS3 at the supposed wholesale price and even below.  Although there will be a lot of genuine Playstation 3 distribution with various distributors, it would be advisable not to touch on those sites that advertise getting PS3’s at fifty to eighty percent in wholesale prices no matter how appealing their reasons would be.

Always keep in mind that even if wholesale games may at one point have forty to ninety-five percent below its market retail cost, at this point in time, and for at least PS3’s first two years, it is impossible to purchase a legitimate Playstation 3 device below its normal wholesale price.  Giant corporations don’t usually launch huge consoles stock during its launching dates for various marketing reasons, and taking this into account means that it is also unfeasible for them to give their authentic PS3’s way below its production cost.

Playstation 3 distribution in retail stores may be at a low the coming months for PS3 aspirants, due to shortage of a certain “chip” needed in the production of Playstation 3.  Even the launching of PS3 in Europe and Australia has been postponed to March of 2007.  The embarrassing delays for Playstation 3 distribution in other parts of the world has made Sony  slash its prices of up to twenty percent in Japan to compete with its video game consoles competitors the Xbox and Nintendo Wii.

Sony is continuously trying to meet its market distribution demands and hopefully aims to reach what is expected in the coming year.  The popularity of Playstation 3 has been a record breaking hit with game console aficionados; those who were lucky enough to get one during its launching are definitely enjoying it to the max, others would just have to patiently wait.
